Initial
Contact
Once you have filled in your online form you will be contacted for an interview. This is over the phone and will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you have about travelling and working in Australia. Our experienced and friendly team are experts at finding the right job for you, and AG Work AUS is the only company that is committed to not charging any candidate fees, so you can get the best experience possible!

Paperwork &
Interviews
We will match you with potential employers using job profile sheets- this will give you an overview of where you could be working. Potentially suitable employers will arrange to chat to you about their role and give you the opportunity to ask any questions. AG Work will also assist you in applying for your visa so you can be ready to start work. Our employers can provide not just a job, but a full-on Aussie experience! With accommodation and a great rate of pay, know that you will be off to work with some of the best farmers in Australia.
3.
Flight Booking & Confirmation
AG Work helps you co-ordinate your flights to Australia with our licensed travel agent. In some cases you will be traveling with other Ag Work recruits so you can meet people during your travels. Our travel agent will guide you through the airport process and ensure you have a smooth journey. Before you travel, AG Work will arrange any onward travel required to get to your place of work. Connect with other travellers with our AG Work community groups and know that you are being looked after by the best of the best!
4.
Arrival & Airport
Pickup
Once you arrive in Australia your employer will be ready to meet you at the airport. You will have contact details of your employer so you can establish communication before you travel. In some cases, you may have onward travel from the airport arranged for you by the AG Work team to get you to your final destination. Before you travel, AG Work will help you set up a bank account and give you instructions to set up a tax number in Australia. Your whole arrival into AUS, will be as seamless as possible. Our care doesn’t stop there- we are on hand with full integration support offered to help you adjust to your new role and community.

Candidate Requirements
Age
We only accept recruits between the ages of 18-35 as you must be in this age bracket to qualify for a Working Holiday Visa in Australia.
Residency
Due to visa restrictions, we only accept recruits who are permanent residents of the UK, Ireland, or countries with a relevant WHV scheme.
Skills & Attributes
To succeed as an Ag Work recruit you will require excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to workplaces and tasks, and be excited to experience Australian agriculture!
Travel Costs
We don’t charge any fees to be an Ag Work recruit however you must be able to cover your travel expenses to Australia and the cost of your visa application.
CV
We ask our candidates to fill in our CV forms that give details of your experience. You will be guided through the CV process by our team and you will be required to provide references.
Commitment
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months with an employer. We can facilitate placement students if you have a workable timeframe.
